With polyester fibres and other materials taking hundreds of years to biodegrade, throw-away fashion is hurting our fragile planet. We’ve destroyed deserts, you only have to look at the 39,000 tons of clothes dumped yearly in the Atacama desert. As well as waste unprecedented amounts of water. It takes 7,500 litres of water to make a single pair of jeans.

Knowing this, it is obvious why the fashion industry is the second-largest polluter in the world.
